We are proud to announce that we are recruiting two Care Service Trainees as part of the Government Kickstart Scheme.
These positions provide a great opportunity for anyone interested in working in healthcare to get real experience in all areas of care provision and management.
Synergy Complex Care specialises in providing care and support to individuals that have complex and multiple needs in the comfort of their homes. Our services are nurse or specialist-led and involve working with families and healthcare professionals to enable our clients to maintain independence and have choice and control.
Our new roles will be based at our office near Bristol and will involve some travel. Successful applicants will receive up to six month’s employment, training and career support.
Please note, to apply to this role, under the Kickstart Scheme, you need to be aged under 25 years-old and receiving universal credit.

Trainee placement summary
The Care Service Trainee roles are introductory positions for individuals who are interested in establishing their career in healthcare.
These placements will allow the Trainees to experience all areas of our services and have the opportunity to develop skills in key areas, both operational and administrative.
Care Service Trainees will receive the necessary training to provide care and support to a range of individuals with complex and multiple care needs.
Areas of training include skill-based, for example:
- Personal Care
- Skin Care
- Continence Care
- Ventilator Care
- Gastrostomy Care
- Moving and Handling
Plus condition-based, for example:
- Brain Injury
- Spinal Injury
- Cerebral Palsy
- Muscular Dystrophy
- Motor Neurone Disease).
Through these trainee positions, you will gain experience of the following:
- Day-to-Day Care Management
- Care Delivery
- Staff Management
- Staff Scheduling and Rota Planning
- Recruitment including pre-screening, interviewing, job offers, DBS checks, compliance and right to work.
