We at Synergy Complex Care are extremely proud to announce that we have pledged to support the Armed Forces Community through the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme.
Representing a promise by the nation and ensuring that those who serve, or have served, and their families, are treated fairly, is of the utmost importance for Synergy Complex Care.
It is vital to us that the Community of the Armed Forces face no disadvantage in comparison to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services. Not only that, but a special consideration should be regarded as appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given the most, such as the injured and the bereaved.
With all 407 local authorities in mainland Great Britain and 4 Northern Ireland councils pledging to uphold and support the Armed Forces Covenant through this scheme, alongside thousands of organisations, it was crucial that we also committed to this honour.
The Ministry of Defence recognises employers who pledge, demonstrate, or advocate their support to the Armed Forces Community through the Employer Recognition Scheme.
As a result of this, over 600 Armed Forces Covenants have been signed since 2011, available to view here.
