Neurodiversity Celebration Week

From the 17-23 March it is Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025. This worldwide week has the aim to challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences.

It is estimated that around one in seven people in the UK are neurodiverse, that is over 15% of the population.

The goal of the week is to transform how neurodivergent individuals are perceived and supported by their work, schools, universities and the world around them.

What is Neurodiversity Celebration Week?

Neurodiversity Celebration Week is to recognise the many talents and skills that people who are neurodivergent can bring.

The week is about creating more inclusive and equal cultures that celebrate the differences of these individuals.

This week celebrates individuals with:

  • Autism
  • ADHD
  • Dyslexia
  • Dyspraxia
  • DLD (Developmental Language Disorder)
  • Tourette’s Syndrome

The week raises awareness about neurodiversity, promoting an understanding of the different conditions and driving acceptance in workplaces, schools and communities.

Ways to get involved

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the weeklong celebrations.

A few ideas for Neurodiversity Celebration Week are supporting neurodiverse individuals by listening, understanding their needs and seeking out policies that support their inclusion.

You can educate yourself and others about neurodiversity, sharing knowledge with family, friends and colleagues.

You could promote inclusive activities in the workplace or your college/university by holding events or workshops to educate on neurodiversity.

Here at Synergy, we celebrate our differences and hope you have a wonderful Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025.
